The Commitment to Food Safety: Drafter of ISO Standard for Ganoderma Lucidum Fruiting Body -- ShouXianGu Botanical Co., Ltd. activity was held in Wuyi in the morning of September 7. Over a hundred guests from food safety administration authorities, major media including Sina and Tecent attended the event.

Ms. WANG Ying, the vice president of the ShouXianGu, introduced the products of the company. She said that the essence of ganoderma lucidum is in its seeds, which are also called spores. Similar to hickory nut in structure, the spore has a double-layered hard sporoderm. The sporoderm, accounting for over 60% of the spore, cannot be absorbed by human body and is the non-medicinal part of the spore.

The spore powder products have undergone three generations of change in terms of the treatment method of the sporoderm.

The second generation made through sporoderm-broken process is easier to be absorbed. But since the sporoderma and the active principle are mixed, the content of the active principle is still not enough. So the ShouXianGu is still the sole owner of sporoderm-removal technology for ganoderma lucidum spore powder at home and abroad. The innovation verification report of the institute has verified the opinion of the panel five years ago.
