Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine was approved to be founded by China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (G.Z.Y.X. [2018] No. 13) after being first proposed by Peking University and ShouXianGu Botanical Co., Ltd. with some other participating units, for the purpose of promoting the healthy and sustainable development of China’s ganoderma lucidum industry, facilitating the research and development of ganoderma lucidum products, especially the research and development of high-tech ganoderma lucidum drugs and health food, improving the industrialization of ganoderma lucidum, and establishing complete national and local standard systems. 

Hosted by the Preparatory Committee for the Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and organized by the Department of Pharmacology, School of Basic Medical Sciences, Peking University, the Preliminary Meeting for Conference on Establishing Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine was successfully held on 24 March 2018 at Peking University Health Science Center.

The content of this meeting included:

1. Discussion on natters in connection with Conference on Establishing Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine .

2. Discussion on the establishment of working organization, and candidates of the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Standing Committee Members of the Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum.

3. Discussion on scope and tasks of the Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum.

4. Formulation of administrative measures for the Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum.

5. Drawing up of activity plans of the Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum in 2018.

6. Other matters.
Representatives participating in the meeting made heated discussions on the contents above, and decided to hold the Conference on Establishing Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine on 4-6 May 2018 at ShouXianGu, Jinhua, Zhejiang. Enterprises and researchers related to the production of ganoderma lucidum are called on to attend the conference. 

The Preparatory Committee for the Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine will send the notice of Conference on Establishing the Professional Committee on Ganoderma Lucidum of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine to ganoderma lucidum enterprises and academic colleagues as soon as possible, and issue the member application forms.
